What does a typical day look like for you? What are your tasks?

I support the commercial department across a number of projects, with full involvement from the tender stage to commercial close out. My current workload is predominantly committed to the Tesla Gigafactory in Berlin as I have been spending some time on site and offering full support to the team involved.

Why did you choose ZAUNER as your employer?

When I joined ZAUNER UK it was a reasonably new branch to Zaunergroup and with this comes opportunity to develop with the business, the team have all been very supportive and have allowed me to grow as an individual new to the industry.

What do you like most about your job?

Personally, I love the opportunity to travel with work. This is a very good opportunity at a young age and being out on site has allowed me to accelerate my learning as a trainee, whilst also getting to travel abroad to places that I may never have seen.

ZAUNER for me have been hugely supportive and welcoming and overall have provided an enjoyable working environment with room for me to grow and fit into the team.

What opportunities does ZAUNER offer you as an employer?

Within a year at ZAUNER, I have been able complete a large number of training courses all which add significant value to my role. Additionally, I was given the opportunity to study a Level 6 Quantity Surveying Degree which, judging that all goes well, means I will be a fully qualified asset to ZAUNER in some years time.
