Liesa | Head of Accounting

Portrait of a Zauner HeroGet to know Liesa ...

My name is Liesa Traxler and I have been working for the Zaunergroup since 2004. As Head of Accounting, my tasks include accounting, cost accounting, budgeting and corporate controlling.

Our questions to Liesa ...

Why did you choose ZAUNER as your employer?

In 2004, I got to know many departments at Zauner as an intern and later as an apprentice, and then decided to do a commercial apprenticeship in accounting. The exciting work and the good working atmosphere were certainly decisive.

What do you like most about your job?

I like the diverse activities that the rapidly growing Zaunergroup has brought with it over the last few years. Whether it’s the many tax issues that we have delved into as a result of the international projects or ongoing process changes that we shape together as a team.

Of course, I like working with facts and figures – especially working out the project evaluations with the individual division managers for cost accounting.

In general, I appreciate the cooperation with my colleagues – both within and across departments.

Last but not least, I also like the opportunity to shape things myself and take on responsibility.

What opportunities does ZAUNER offer you as an employer?

Over the years, continuing education, especially my part-time studies, has always been a central topic for me. I was well supported here and was able to combine my career and further training well thanks to flexible working hours. I also greatly appreciate the opportunity and confidence to work my way up from former apprentice to commercial manager.

For what reason would you recommend ZAUNER as an employer?

Despite international activities, the Zaunergroup is a family business. Respectful and appreciative interaction among colleagues is reflected in the good working atmosphere.

At ZAUNER, all employees are heroes. What is your superpower?

In any case, loyalty to the company and my open way of communicating with colleagues.
