My name is Matej Knežević and I am responsible for the divisional management of the pharmaceutical industry in Western and Northern Europe at Zauner. I joined Zauner in 2016, having previously managed pharmaceutical projects throughout Europe for an international company for several years.

Is there a current project you would like to share with us?
We are currently managing very exciting projects for the most renowned pharmaceutical customers in the WE&NE area. Here, our project teams are active in four different countries, doing their best to meet the challenging requirements of our customers so that they can ensure the timely production and delivery of various medicines. It’s a great feeling to know that we can do our part.
Why did you choose ZAUNER as your employer?
In 2016, I became aware of the company through a former colleague who moved to Zauner, and I immediately liked the ambitions and the direction in which the company wanted to go. Due to my previous experience with pharmaceutical projects, I was able to actively contribute and shape the future of the company from day one.
What do you like most about your job?
The very diverse activities in an international environment and the opportunity to strategically build up, manage and help shape the division.

Because it is a family business where the “Open Door Policy” is really lived. You can talk about all things openly and with respect, and time is taken for every concern. There are very few companies where this is still true today.
