- As a Tax Specialist for International Taxation and Accounting at Zaunergroup located in the in Wallern/Upper Austria, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all tax-related matters in Austria and abroad (Europe).
- Taking ownership of all special tasks related to tax issues, including tax declarations and returns (VAT, Corporate Income Tax etc.) for both domestic and international operations.
- Managing international tax matters, including calculation, registering, and ensuring timely payment of locally applicable taxes in foreign permanent establishments.
- Providing support to your colleagues by assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks and occasionally filling in for them when needed.
- Participating in the preparation of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Required superpowers
- Completed commercial education, along with ideally a (balance sheet) accounting examination and/or relevant studies with a focus in finance, accounting or taxation.
- Relevant professional experience in taxation and/or balance sheet accounting, preferably gained within an industrial or manufacturing environment or
- Graduates with a background in tax consultancy are also encouraged to apply.
- A collaborative and open-minded team spirit, with the ability to engage in cross-location exchanges, including English communication.
- German is a must
- Strong IT affinity and familiarity with various software programs, proficiency in working with BMD NTCS is preferred.
