Michele | Division Manager Pharma

Portrait of a Zauner heroGet to know Michele ...

I am Michele Petris and I am responsible for the projects in the pharmaceutical industry in Switzerland at Zauner as a division manager. After 4 years as a technician at a market companion, I started at Zaunergroup in 2017 in the same role. Subsequently, I handled several projects as project manager.

Our questions to Michele ...

What do you like most about your job at Zauner?

First and foremost, I enjoyed covering a very diverse range of activities both as a technician and later as a project manager. In addition to commercial and technical project management, a high degree of communication and coordination with customers, suppliers and, for the most part, international project teams is part of my everyday work.

It was also helpful that my age was not an obstacle to my career. After only a short time, I was able to manage larger projects and exert a great deal of influence on their progress.

What opportunities does ZAUNER offer you as an employer?

During the initial period, I was able to complete a part-time degree while working. There is a good working atmosphere, where humor is not neglected at all levels despite sometimes challenging project phases and thus contributes to the mood.

You work for ZAUNER on construction sites. What advantages and opportunities does that give you?

Mainly that I was able to gain experience in international projects at an early stage and carry out interesting, responsible tasks.

In addition, some cool incentives are organized for project employees on international construction sites to compensate for events that are often missed at headquarters in Austria due to working abroad. This year, for example, we organized a two-day teambuilding event with the project team including a ski day in Switzerland, which was made possible after 2 successfully completed Covid vaccine projects.
